Kedron SHS works hard to offer support and access to learning for our D/deaf students. For students who are D/deaf or have a hearing loss Kedron SHS offers Educational Interpreters (EIs) to facilitate equal access to both curriculum and extra curricula aspects of the Kedron SHS community.
We also work with external organisations when required such as Australian Hearing. Wherever possible, our team work to provide captioning services, speech to text and note-takers to ensure that the Deaf and HoH students have full access to both Unit and Mainstream subjects.
