Students in years 7 to 10 study a range of subjects under the Australian Curriculum. These subjects come from the 8 Key Learning Areas of:
- English
- Maths
- Social Science
- Science Health and Physical Education (HPE)
- Technology
- The Arts
- Languages
The compulsory subjects for students in years 7 and 8 are:
- English
- Maths
- Humanities and Social Science
- Science Languages HPE
- As well as a rotation of elective subjects during these two years.
For year 9 students, the compulsory subjects are:
- English
- Maths
- Humanities and Social Science
- Science HPE
Students also choose two electives for each semester. If a language is chosen in year 9, it is a full year subject. During year 10, students and families will work with the school on the Senior Education and Training (SET) Plan, which develops their senior pathway and subjects.
Compulsory subjects in year 10, are:
- English
- Maths
- Humanities and Science Students also choose two electives that they study for the full year.
In year 11 and 12 students study to complete their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE), while working towards either an ATAR or vocational pathway.
