Principal's Welcome - 2017

6/02/2017

I  welcome you to another exciting year at Kedron. Whether you have travelled from afar or from just up the road to be with us, you can relax and feel welcome in the Kedron family.  Our lines of communication are open and we look forward to conversing with you about many of the great things that happen in our amazing school community.

Your school is one that gives learning the highest priority through functioning in an orderly and well-managed environment where there is mutual respect between all persons.

I have stated in the past, and I stand firm on this point, that I do not debate the pros and cons of uniform or behaviour – when you join our community you agree to our highest standards in both these areas. We can then focus our energies on learning. It is this attention to detail and maintaining the highest standards that allows Kedron to enjoy an enviable reputation in the community. We must ensure we keep this as a priority and we need parents to work with us on these matters.

WELCOME NEW STAFF

Our school continues to attract students in increasing numbers with our Enrolment Management Plan assisting us to manage that demand.  We now sit around 1500 students. Toward the end of 2016 we farewelled a number of staff and this means we get to welcome new staff to the Kedron family for the start of 2017;

  • Stacey Card (Acting Deputy Principal)

  • Ashley Harris (Head of Department IT and Business)

  • Louise Habermehl (Teacher)
